Bernd Pfleger is a biologist, wilderness guide and nature tour operator.

As founder and managing director of “Experience Wilderness”, he leads nature trips and wilderness tours worldwide, mainly traveling in Eastern Europe and Africa. But he also enthusiastically explores the wild places of his native Austria. With it you will discover traces that did not previously exist in your imagination. And hear animal noises that lift your perception of nature to a new level.

Studied “environmental protection” at the Weihenstephan University of Applied Sciences in Bavaria with a focus on ecology, water, nature conservation and environmental education

Expert for national parks, wilderness areas and other protected areas through completion of the postgraduate, international Master of Science course "Management of Protected Areas" at the University of Klagenfurt and subsequent work as leader and manager of international protected area projects for E.C.O. Institute of Ecology
 

Numerous professional and private stays in the most exciting wilderness areas of Europe, Africa, Asia and America, including months in:
Zambia, Malawi, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania and Zimbabwe as a nature and expedition tour guide
